Avocateur in Nordend

I generally don’t do many restaurant write-ups since restaurants have a habit of disappearing (especially since corona), but I thought this place was worth a mention. I dropped in for brunch, finally, after walking past a number of times. I seem unable to resist these sort of themed restaurants and the avocado style definitely got to me…

I’ll be honest, I was a little disappointed the the many decorative avocado plants inside were actually plastic, but it would have taken some effort to keep them all alive and healthy! Still, the place really didn’t disappoint, avocados were included in everthing. Even my Basil Smash cocktail came with a slice of avocodo.

And it absolutely works. The food was really nice (albeit with slightly small portions) and the drinks were great. I was really impressed at the size of the jug of lemonade (see main picture). No need for a refill on that one. The cocktails were surprisingly good and fairly priced for FFM…

You can find Avocateur near the bottom of Oederweg, and you can’t really miss it. Everything is green.
