Weekly Farmers’ Markets

Since I mentioned Schillerstrasse weekly market in the previous post, you may be wondering where else and when to find markets. Since it will take me a while to visit and document each of them, here is an overview for you. Except for the Blumenmarkt (flower market) all of them do the standard local groceries supplied from the region and further afield (fruit, veg, meat, fish, etc.)
Tuesday Höchst: 7 – 13:00 Dornbusch: 8 – 18:00 Kaisermarkt: 9 – 19:00 Sachsenhausen: 8 – 18:00
Wednesday Bornheim: 8 – 18:30 Nordwestzentrum: 9 – 18:00 Celsiusplatz: 10 – 20:00
Thursday   Bockenheim: 8 – 18:00 Konstablerwache: 10 – 20:00 Kaisermarkt: 9 – 19:00 Seckbach: 10 – 18:00 Bonames: 9 – 20:00
Friday Heddernheim: 9 – 18:00 Höchst: 7 – 13:00 Nordend: 10 – 20:00 Schillermarkt: 9 – 18:30 Sachsenhausen: 8 – 18:00 Gallus: 8 – 18:30 Blumenmarkt: 9 – 18:30 Preungesheim: 11 – 19:00
Saturday Höchst: 7 – 13:00 Konstablerwache: 8 – 17:00 Bornheim: 8 – 16:00 Niederrad: 8 – 16:00 Riedberg: 9 – 16:00 Oberrad: 9 – 14:00

In addition to these, you also have the following permanent markets: Kleinmarkthalle which is open daily in the city centre for fresh foods Frischezentrum which a massive warehouse arrangement out towards Bad Homburg
