You don’t need to know how a farmer’s market works, you just need to know that every Thursday and Saturday Konstablerwache is a great place to have a snack and a drink (aside from buying fresh food). As you can expect there is the normal fruit and veg stands, there are also a variety of places providing food and a few mobile bars serving local wines and beers. When the weather is good, it is a great place to sit outside.

Particularly good are the vegan mushroom stand, selling a few different types of mushroom risottos, mushroom pancakes, and vegan mushroom burgers. Also the fishmonger in the corner sell grilled fish dishes alongside the regular iced fish.

Not much more to say really, except that it comes right before and after Friday’s food and wine market in Schiller street!
