If you didn’t make it to the Music Fair last week, then don’t worry, there are loads of options for live music in Frankfurt. Another new monthly event has just arrived in the city, courtesy of the Jahrehunderthalle over in Höchst.
The new format is called Music Sneak and is much the same as the sneak preview formats offered at cinemas. There are three acts who remain secret until the event itself when they perform a mixture of new and old hits in a lounge style personal atmosphere at the Jahrehunderthalle. The format is much the same as the Sofar Sounds format which is also highly popular.
Music Sneak had really good reviews in the local press for its first concert last month and the next one is this Friday (14th May). So if you haven’t made plans yet for the Easter weekend then I can highly recommend booking a ticket online now (€18 per person) and taking the sbahn over to Höchst. It will take only about 10 minutes by train and a 10 minute walk further to the venue. Of course, going by car will be a lot more convenient and there is tonnes of parking available at the venue.
If you aren’t sure then check out their video of the first event:
